Ocean State Media, Rhode Island’s PBS has acquired WVEI (FM) from Audacy, Radio World reports. The merger entailed moving the FM station to PBS studios and enhancing that facility. The
FM signal now covers the entire state. In 2023, Rhode Island PBS and the Public’s Radio were merged, and rebranded as Ocean State Media in 2025.
